Jason initially took to the practice of yoga as a supplement to running, biking, and strength training. The benefits became apparent almost immediately as his balance, flexibility and overall strength increased dramatically. Yoga quickly became his primary mode of training.
Jason received his certification to teach yoga in 2015 from The Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. His mission as an instructor is to make yoga accessible to everyone and to help improve one’s quality of life by making movement easier through a sustainable practice.
Prior to teaching yoga and movement, Jason worked as a trader on the floor of the Intercontinental Exchange. His experience working in the high-stress, fast-paced environment of the commodities trading floor has driven his desire to guide individuals to maintain healthy lifestyles. As a former college wrestler, Jason understands the benefits yoga offers to athletes. Yoga’s emphasis on breath, flexibility, and mobility training aid to maximize athletic performance, balance, and mental acuity. It’s the perfect complement to an athlete’s regimen.
